Looks up info about a user on the IRC server.
/whois <nick> [nick]
- <nick> and [nick] are the user you want to whois. If you supply a [nick] the content of <nick> doesn't have to be the same. Using the second nick parameter makes it look up an extended whois of the user which will include idle duration in seconds and when the user connected in ctime.
Example
Normal whois:
/whois Dana
Extended whois:
/whois Dana Dana
Note that the extended usage example has the nick twice even though the first parameter does not have to be the nick, it is most commonly used like this.
