Whenever you want mIRC to execute commands regulary or at a specified time, you need to use timers. To activate (or stop) a timer, use the /timer command. $timer will give you information about currently active timers.

Note that timers are linked to connection, which means that a timer will be deactivated when you disconnect from the connection it is linked to.
