Returns a CRC checksum of a given file, binary variable, or plain text

$crc(text|&binvar|filename,[N])

• N is used to indicate what kind of data is passed into $crc, with text being the default
  • 0 is for plain text
  • 1 is for a binary variable
  • 2 is for a file
